Patriots vs. Seahawks Thursday injury report: Josh Uche sidelined for New England – Pats Pulpit

An active roster of 52 would take the practice fields for the New England Patriots on Thursday.

Observing was rookie linebacker Josh Uche, while four others remained limited participants as New England’s meeting with the Seattle Seahawks at CenturyLink Field draws near.

Here is the second injury report heading into Sunday’s 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff.

DID NOT PARTICIPATE

  • Patriots: LB Josh Uche (ankle)
  • Seahawks: OT Cedric Ogbuehi (pectoral), DE Rasheem Green (neck)

Uche, drafted No. 60 overall by New England, had been a full participant in practice to begin the week before not participating on Thursday due to an ankle injury. The Michigan product was inactive for the season opener versus the Miami Dolphins.

Ogbuehi and Green have not partaken in Week 2 practices for Seattle.

LIMITED PARTICIPATION

  • Patriots: WR Julian Edelman (knee), WR N’Keal Harry (shoulder), DT Adam Butler (shoulder), LB Brandon Copeland (knee)
  • Seahawks: WR Phillip Dorsett (foot), OT Duane Brown (knee)

Both Butler and Copeland were new arrivals on the New England’s side of the injury report on Wednesday because of shoulder and knee ailments, respectively, while Edelman and Harry were listed leading up to Week 1. The starting Patriots wideouts followed up with a combined 10 receptions.

As for a former Patriots wideout, Dorsett has turned in a pair of limited practices after missing the Seahawks’ first game of the campaign due to a foot injury. He was joined as limited on Thursday by Brown. The 35-year-old offensive tackle is managing a knee ailment and was back after a veteran rest day.

  • Seahawks: S Jamal Adams (elbow)

Cornerback Jonathan Jones and linebacker Cassh Maluia have been removed from the injury report for the Patriots. And tight end Dalton Keene, a third-round arrival out of Virginia Tech, has been a full-go in consecutive practices after being questionable and ultimately inactive last weekend with a neck issue.

Adams was added to the Seahawks’ injury report as a full participant with an elbow issue on Thursday. The ex-New York Jets All-Pro safety played 449 of 449 defensive snaps over six career AFC East matchups with the Patriots.
